More Than A Vest

This thing is really nice! Very useful, tons of pockets and accessories. You can eliminate a pack back. The vest has some weight to it, it's not just a vest you ware over you coat. It has some waterproofing to it, some insulation, some wind proofing to it. I wore it in a snow storm in Wisconsin over my thick hoodie and I was just fine! Quiet velcro, pockets all over the place. You can secure a chair to the straps in the back. If you have a bino hanging in the front you can put it in the front pocket to take some weight off your neck. Quality made product! I cannot say enough about this vest!!!

I’ve spent the last two weeks wearing this vest. The material doesn’t hang up in the briars, but at the same time, isn’t super noisy when the brush slides across it. The chest zipper pockets are the perfect size for a phone, and even big enough I used the right one to hold a grunt call. Only thing that would be nice to have changed is the zipper length. Adding another 1/2 inch would make removing a phone a little easier one handed. The rifle cartridge holder on the left upper chest works very well. The front pouch works great as well. Rear cargo pouch is big enough to hold extra clothing or things you won’t need in a hurry. The zipper being located on the left side isn’t a pain to zip/unzip as I thought it may be. The only immediate downside to this vest is the water bottle holder locations. I tried three different styles of bottle in an attempt to make it easier to put the bottle back and never found a combo that didn’t have me either taking the vest off or asking someone to put it back for me. Other than that it’s a good product. I hate wearing an outer layer that serves a single function and this vest does a good job of being a multi functional product.

This vest is my go to for deer and elk hunting in Washington state. Lots of room for extras.
