The Wading Pants I’ve Been Waiting For

I’ve been a big fan of my Miss Mayfly waders, so I was VERY excited to finally have a wading pant option for summer and warmer-weather fishing days when I just don’t need all the extra. First and foremost, I LOVE the fit. As a larger, curvy woman, I’ve struggled for years to find fly fishing gear that actually fits my body. An XL in many brands simply isn’t going to cut it, and I so appreciate a women-owned company making gear for women of all shapes and sizes. These pants fit comfortably, move with me, and—maybe most importantly—make me feel good wearing them. And they’re not just comfortable. The quality is on par with my Miss Mayfly waders. I can bushwhack, scramble along the riverbank, and step over rocks without feeling restricted. The articulated knees give me plenty of room to move, which makes a huge difference when I’m spending a full day on the water. I’ve always been a little jealous of all the wading pant options my husband has had over the years. I wanted the same thing, but I needed something actually cut for my body and available in my size. I finally found it with Miss Mayfly. Higher confidence? Check. Exceptional fit? Check. Catching more trout? Let’s hope!

Super comfortable, perfect fit

Did awesome. Dipnetting on Kenai and I hgot knocked over by a wave. A bit of my waistline got wet but not much. Kept me warm and dry!
