Excellent bass
I love this thing. I much prefer maple fretboards but liked the white finish, and emailed them to suggest they offer that as an option. I almost immediately received a response that they could just put a maple board on a white body if I was interested (!), and they did so. Great customer service. The bass itself is also great, exactly what it’s advertised as. The back of the neck is great; I’m not sure what kind of finish, but it’s definitely not glossy and basically feels like incredibly smooth bare wood. Smooth frets, and I was able to drop the saddle heights significantly (just my preference) with no issue. I do wish the scale length was 30” just to reduce the length, but their rationale of 32” being a good compromise between full scale and 30” so as to minimally impact the feel vs. a full scale bass makes a ton of sense. 30” is just a preference of mine. Overall a great bass, and to me it doesn’t really feel noticeably different than a full size. Would definitely recommend.
