Born with and blessed/cursed with an Irish complexion has always been a concern when in the sun for an extended period. Whether golfing or just enjoying a day in the great outdoors we need to take certain precautions not to overdue our exposure. This hat's wide brim and comfortable head band provide maximum coverage for my head, face and neck without having to worry so much about reapplying sunscreen so often with a std ball cap or hat. It provides maximum shade without these worries and looks good too. Took a little adjustment to wearing this larger style but the sun safety benefits are well worth it !
