Worth its weight in gold
Absolutely fabulous guide to understanding how & where to find to find & use all the features of the Nikon Z fc. Easy to use and understand, in my opinion the only essential guide that’s worth buying. John Greengo’s guides are worth their weight in gold. They take your very basic knowledge of how to use a camera and lenses. And explain how to use it like a professional photographer.

Always an excellent course
This is my fourth of fifth camera course from John. All have been excellent. I would have liked an index showing session and time for a particular subject.

An indispensable guide
This guide has been perfect for my needs and I can't see how it wouldn't everyone other than the very experienced digital photographers. I bought a Z fc recently, my first "true" digital camera. Prior I had used a fixed lens Lumix 15 years ago, and my phone. I had been an avid film photographer back in the 80s but never moved into digital until now. I've watched many YouTube videos and, when necessary, read a good portion of the Z fc reference manual, but it wasn't until I came across John's free video for the Zf did I realize I was missing out. I had been trying to figure out what the Program mode was and how to use it. Google it, you won't find anything useful unless you already know what it is. The manual told me how to turn it on, etc. but not what I needed it for. In the free Zf video, John described it perfectly. That convinced my to look to see if he had videos for the Z fc, which he did, and which I am now about half way through. The beauty in John's guide is that he doesn't just describe how to activate each button or settings and move on. He describes how the setting might be used. Why would I want to use Program mode or not? Why would I want to change my Focus mode? And so on. He also explains some of the technical details behind each setting AND demonstrates nearly every one. In many cases I doubt I would even know what the setting meant, other than seeing the description in the manual. The guide is really making me comfortable with all the settings built-in to the camera - and there are SO many! Now, when I go out shooting I can feel more confident because I understand what camera is supposed to be doing when I press the shutter. Thank you, John!
