dAHLer Exhaust Flap / Valve Control Module With Remote Control for F & G series

Such a cool, simple modification that makes a noticeable, but not over the top difference on a stock G80M3 exhaust. Thank you KIES for the controller and video detailing the install to a tee. Love it!

I installed the DAHLer Exhaust Flap / Valve Control Module on my G82. Installation was straightforward and I was able to complete it without even lifting the car off the ground. I did verify that the valves were opening fully after installation, so it is functioning correctly. Where I was a bit disappointed was the actual change in exhaust volume and tone. Other than during cold start, I do not hear much difference when the valves are open versus the stock. The exhaust note does not noticeably increase in volume or change in tone. To be fair, this is likely not a DAHLer issue. The factory exhaust on the G82 is heavily restricted. However, like most auto parts, they are not returnable after install - so buyer beware. Overall, the module is well built, easy to install, and it does exactly what it is designed to do, control the exhaust valves. Just be aware that if you are expecting a major increase in exhaust volume on a stock G82 exhaust, that may not happen.
