Insulation Tent

Quite warm but poor placement of attachment points

I have used the insulation tent for a week and within the first 3 times of opening and closing the tent, there was a broken hook at the top point of the insulation tent which had snapped in the closing of the tent itself. The two corners of the top ridge also have the elastic too loose off from the start but could be partially corrected with tightening. The rest of the tent was fabulous and the temperature was significantly different with it. The only other stylistic change I would make is to mimic the side windows in having the insulation tent be rounded so to allow the full air exposure, if desired.

Cuts the chill

Tried this out camping in 32 degree weather. Does a good job of holding the heat. While we were getting ready for bed and being a little more active, temps got up to almost 70 in the tent. By the coldest part of the morning, temps were 50 degrees in the tent, without any supplemental heat. Setup is relatively straightforward. My only complaint is that it sags a bit. You can tuck it in around the mattresses but it’s hard to do near the shell, where it sags the most. Overall, I think this is a good backup to have for those especially cold nights.
