Lake Dress

My new fave!

I purchased this dress in the Boxing Day sale, and am so pleased I did. I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I do, I now have my eye on this style in other prints. This dress is very flattering and comfortable (as well as beautiful!).

Everyone should own one of these styled dresses!

The Lake Dress was the absolute surprise package of my latest Augustine order! As an online shopper (Aussie based), it's sometimes hard to get a sense of the fabric detail - I'm not a "floral girl", and I worried the floral print on this dress would be too much... However, when it arrived and I tried it on - I was absolutely stoked with it! The colour is really flattering against my paler skin tone, the dress itself is really flowy - lots of room to eat and drink and not feel self conscious; perfect length; I also love the braided detail in the shoulder straps. As for the floral detail - well, I'd clearly way over imagined it! Honestly, it's not something the eye is drawn to; the colour of the Lake Dress is what really makes it "pop!". Hands down, I will be wearing this one NYE. Everyone should own one of these styled dresses!
