I had a brilliant experience ordering from Whole Punching. I purchased the cotton punch needle fabric. The fabric is high-quality and exactly what you want for embroidery punch needle work, strong evenly woven and easy to work with.

Cotton Fabric

I wanted to have a go, not only with wool but also embroidery punch needle. Many online tutorials mention weavers cloth, so I was a little unsure how the cotton fabric would work, but I need not have worried, as this fabric has been perfect with a fine needle and cotton. With that in mind, I shall continue ordering my embroidery cloth from here and can highly recommend.
