Doesn't fit my refrigerator despite saying it does. My refrigerator doesn't even require a bypass I found out, but I'd still like the cover.

Wanted a water filter bypass since I have a whole home filtration system. Went through LG to get part and it didn’t fit. Supposedly, refrigerators at 2018 have a built in bypass, but not mine and I just bought it last March.
