Delightful trail food

I bought the lentils to take with me on a long backpacking trip because I am vegetarian and needed a good protein source aside from just peanut butter. The dehydrated lentils were perfect. Cooked them up with orzo each night for dinner. They are so easy to prepare, weigh very little, and are delicious. Highly recommend for your next backpacking trip!

So much easier than regular lentils!

I enjoy using lentils in soups, but I hate the sorting/cleaning process. This process is eliminated with these already cooked and dehydrated lentils…plus they cook much faster!
