Bought this shirt specifically to turkey hunt in South Texas. They got all their rain for the year the days that I was there! When it did quit raining it was crazy muggy. The mesh back, the lightweight material and vented cape saved me from overheating I’m sure. I bought the old school green camo because you can’t get enough green camo to hunt down there. Great fit, true to size but putting a back pad on a super lightweight shirt doesn’t make any sense because it’s like having a heating pad attached to your shirt. I fell for that once and pulled the pad out before I even tried it on. Besides you can’t lean back against anything down there that doesn’t have stickers unless it’s a T-post on a fence line. Great shirt, great price (on sale) but carry a turkey chair!

Genius idea!

I ordered these shirts for my three grown sons and my husband, who are all turkey hunters. They were impressed with and excited about the padding on the upper back to support them against the trees while hunting.
