Okay, so I’ve been skating on this DKL grip for about a month now, and honestly? It’s weird not having to duct-tape my shoes back together every week. Let me start by saying I was super skeptical—rubber instead of sandpaper? Felt like skating on a yoga mat or something. But wow, this stuff actually works. First off, the grip is no joke. It’s not that gritty sandpaper feel, but after a day or two, I stopped noticing the difference. Flip tricks still pop like they should, and my board doesn’t feel like it’s sliding out from under me. The best part? My go-to Vans (RIP to the three pairs I murdered last year) are still intact. Like, the soles aren’t sanded down to paper-thin flaps. It’s wild. I’ve been using DKL since they launched and they get better with everything improvement. I will never go back to rubber griptape and will always recommend people to try out DKL for themselves. It works. I’ve had a pair of shoes last me a year of skating which is unheard of in our culture.
