Kidled4R Headlamp

This light is so small and light weight that this is my second one. The first I got for my son’s birthday now that he’s starting to learn about camping. The light is bright enough to see what you need to see when doing something outside at night. Probably not the best option for hiking into the woods for hunting but plenty bright around camp or around the house at night. Even though it has a childish print on the strap I got one because of how small the footprint it. Its tiny. Not to mention the clip is nice for when wearing a pocket shirt.

Almost perfect

I have bought over a dozen of these headlamps. They are the perfect birthday gift for any child. That being said, my two boys ages 4 & 6 have gone through about 3 each (they are small so they each have a few). They use them as night lights- I only allow them to use red and these are great because they go off after 20 minutes so they allow them to fall asleep but also not be woken up by persistent light. Also, they are rechargeable which makes them better for camping than traditional battery headlamps which get bumped on in your bag and consequently always have dead batteries. These can get bumped on but will turn off after 20 min so they don’t kill their charge while not in use. If these do happen to be dead no problem just charge them up in the car on the way to the campsite. The only big problem with these is that they will not stay on the headbands (for active kids). I wish they would have a locking clasp to keep them from sliding off the band easily. I even tried to hot glue the slider to make it so they could t come off- but they still do. Then they only work as nightlights because the band is lost.
