Guards are robust and effective. I've had SW Motec on other bikes and enjoy their products.

Beautiful engine guards. Was hard to find the right wrench! Flex-Head solved it.

The guards are exceptionally well-made. Instructions are good but not detailed enough (for me, the noob mechanic), I could not figure out what wrench to use to hold lower bolt in place (inside the frame, it's tight on Street Twin), as I am loosening the bolt. I knew I needed something with flex head, and ended up finding a great set at Harbor Freight (ICON Flex-Head Metric Ratcheting Combination Wrench). Install was easy with those! Just wanted to note it here since it took me a couple of trips to hardware stores. Torque specs (consulted with professional technician): with torque specs, I am tightening the bolt, not the location of the bolt. A 10mm bolt is about 50nm.
