SHRINKAGE!!!

I love Saint James and their designs and have been a customer for decades. Be sure to read and heed their care instructions as subjecting your Saint James garnet to any heat whatsoever will shrink it to the point that it will no longer fit. Don’t even think about drying it in a dryer. Don’t hang it in the sun. It’s really best to hang your Saint James clothing to dry indoors away from UV light or any heat.

I like the thicker fabric of this Breton shirt. Also the straight cut makes it easy to go over jeans. Size medium is a tiny bit loose on me, but I expect some shrinkage in washing. The sleeves are long, but I find the rolled-up look just fine. I am glad to add this new piece to my growing Saint James collection!

I’m a sucker for striped shirts just like this. I must have 6 in different colors but they aren’t as nice as this one. And they don’t exactly fit (COVID weight gain?) I particularly like the heavier fabric. I went up a size to XL because the care instructions say not to machine dry and I just know that someone will put it in the dryer. Yes, the sleeves are long but they look fine with a roll or 2. And it’s long on me (I am 5’3”) but that is exactly what I was looking for. I want it to be longer. I plan on wearing it with white jeans when the winter is finally over. I am very pleased.
