Chess Armory Pocket Chess Set

The only reasons this isn’t a 5 star review are that it doesn’t have a place to hold the taken pieces, the board isn’t strongly glued to the black plastic (my finger caught it and it sprung up, but popped back down seamlessly), two pieces that line up near the hinge bows the board out when closed, and a second queen of each color isn’t provided. For $10, all of my complaints are minimal. But, as I will likely use this to set up puzzles for study, not having a storage spot for the pieces is inconvenient. The board bowing open when setup or mid-game and closed for transport seems like a sloppy design. The board popping up makes me expect this product wont last very long, but isn’t much of an issue when you consider the price to replace it. The lack of a spare queen of each color seems like this product wasn’t really designed by chess players, but assembled using children’s game standards. Overall, I would definitely buy this again, but it’s design is missing some polish.
