Decent tile, but glue residue

Received the tile fine and it works for our project- the problem is every single tile is covered in a glue residue that has to be hand scraped and scrubbed before we can set it. It’s taken us hours and we still aren’t done. Even after the glue is scraped and scrubbed, a film remains that we can’t figure out how to remove.

Looks great

Wish it was solid and not just painted black on top. Overall looks great in our bathroom. Shipping was fast!
