Good cheek finishing brush

Really lovely cheek brush. I don’t reach for it as often as others because I prefer more density however it makes a great travel brush or for a light sweep of blush. Can even do highlighter and a sheer bronzer application. It is quite flat and would benefit from more hairs. It won’t give you the luxe feel of a z8 for example but it can get the job done. Alicia Archer has a video review of this brush I highly recommend checking out if considering. She hypes it up perhaps more than it deserves. If I had to choose or build my collection again, I’d choose either the chikuhodo z8 or one of the hakuhodo squirrel cheek brushes and pass on this one. It is plenty soft just lacks density not only for that luxe feel but also the application I prefer. It applies very sheer and has a hard time picking up powders that aren’t finely milled and soft or loose. It works well enough with my Chantecaille and hourglass blushes. I use it mostly as a finishing cheek blending brush to diffuse everything together for a more natural look but id you prefer more targeted application there are better options available.

Versatile Face Brush

I love how soft this brush feels on your skin. You can use it for powder, contour or blush. This brush is well made and I love the versatility. It blends products seamlessly and I love the shape of the bristles.
