Fishpond Lodgepole Fishing Stachel

Have a prior version which seems to be way better for my use. It has more pockets and a small zippered pocket on the side, perfect so as not to loose pencils. Why did they alter the strap and closing buckle?…I’m sure it was cheaper. I will make it work, but the earlier version was better by far.

Good looking bag. I have a nylon and lighter canvas version I use for fishing. I like the color of this new one, but not too wild about the closure and padding portion of carrying strap and it's sewn on and can't change it.

Got this bag to take on a road trip and it was just what I needed; simple, durable, roomy ( my only complaint is the pad on the strap should be removable) good quality all around; Fishpond is always reliable
