Bird Netting - Knitted/Woven

Thought it was wonderful, but. . .

This netting was nicely packaged and a breeze for my husband and me to put over the PVC frame we have over several blueberry plants. The edges are hemmed, and we the net seemed pretty indestructable -- definitately a huge step up from the cheap bird netting we had always used in the past. Sadly, within a week we had a huge gaping hole at one end. A huge chunk of the netting, including the hem, was just gone. Two days later, I noticed multiple large holes, some as high as my shoulders. The netting is not getting caught on branches. Our only explanation is that deer have been trying to get in to the berries and are perhaps even biting the netting? Is this possible? Nothing else seems to explain the shoulder-height holes. I was really, really impressed with this netting and so hoped it would last us many years, especially at this price. I am vastly disappointed it hasn't held up to some large animal trying to get my berries.

Bird netting

Ordered the 35x50 bird netting to cover my Blueberries. Was easy to put up much easier than expected. Should do the job nicely.
