I have used Jane Iredale products for a long time (maybe 25 years?). I started with the loose mineral powder, but tried it in the refillable brush. Its wonderfully convenient for a quick start to my day. As I have aged (now 65 y. o. ) I have progressed to using the Skintuition Radiance liquid foundation for things other than everyday. Recently I also purchased the Brightening Primer. I get alot of compliments on my skin. I went to a family wedding - country church with NO A/C. I used the primer, liquid foundation, followed by this loose mineral powder - my makeup lasted the entire day - no touch up needed. (the reception was in an air-conditioned hall - thank goodness) I fully recommend Jane Iredale cosmetics to anyone

Handy Foundation - Quick and Easy

I like the foundation; it's the same loose foundation I'm used to, just in a new container. It did take a little getting used to the method of applying it to my face. It is easy to end up with too much or too little. But it does apply nicely over primer and has the SPF 20, so I do think it is a wonderful summer option. I've discovered that once you shake it out, there is foundation on the brush, even if you don't see much on the surface. You only need to shake it out, then pat some on, swirl with the brush, and you're done. It is an easy, quick way to get your makeup done. A little blush, maybe some eye makeup and I'm good to go! An added bonus is that the foundation sits beautifully on my skin and does not emphasize pores or wrinkles. No settling, so that makes me very happy.

Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder Refillable Brush

I have been a Jane Iredale PurePressed Mineral Base user for years. I loved the convenient, no mess way of being able to get a flawless complexion. Because I suffer from Melasma, I have been using mineral based sunscreens. Unfortunately, they have a tendency to be heavy and greasy. The oils from the sunscreen deposited on my Handi brush which in turn transferred onto my PurePressed Base. “Hard pan” city! That is when I decided to try the loose minerals. I like it a lot. I even think the color match in Autumn is better for me in the loose formulation versus the pressed. I decided to go with the refillable brush because I travel and because I thought it would be less messy. I haven’t quite mastered the application using the refillable brush yet. It has been a learning curve for me but I will continue experimenting with it until I become more comfortable. Overall, Jane Iredale Mineral Foundation in any form is a 10/10.
