Premium Light Jacket

This puffy jacket is not the most ultralight I’ve seen, although it’s very light, but it is extremely warm for the weight. Go much lighter and you are usually sacrificing warmth. The NovaUL has two features I’ve rarely or never seen on a puffy. First, it has thumb holes, which are usually a feature on base or mid-layers. It also has pit zips to dump heat, which I’ve never seen on a puffy and usually see on rain jackets. The fit is great and the cinches on the hood are really versatile as well to lock in a perfect fit. Really strong value for the quality of this product, especially with it being on sale.

Incredibly Warm for the Weight

Amazing product from Outdoor Vitals. This down jacket is incredibly lightweight while still providing outstanding warmth. Even during Arizona winters, it keeps me extremely warm — at times almost too warm, which is definitely a good problem to have. It packs down small, feels great on the trail, and has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of gear for colder weather.
