Great mug! Lousy fulfillment.

My husband LOVES this mug! He had the same one previously, but accidentally broke it, so I ordered a new one for his birthday. When I ordered, it said to expect 3 business days for it to be packed up for shipping. Because it was a holiday weekend, I figured it might take a bit longer. When 6 business days later(plus accounting for the holiday) I still hadn't heard anything, I reached out to customer service. They confirmed that the mug had still not shipped. I explained that it was to be a gift and they asked when I needed it by. I told them ideally - the next day, a Saturday, but that Monday would suffice. The person I was communicating with was so helpful and said she got permission to send it out next-day shipping, that I should receive confirmation shortly. I got an initial confirmation email with no delivery date followed by a second one that said shipping plans had changed and I would now be receiving my delivery on Wednesday. The mug was indeed delivered on Wednesday. I love these products! But I now know that if I need something from Sock Religious for a specific date, I should order at least 2 1/2 weeks in advance. Perhaps it is time for them to change in their messaging the amount of days they need to get orders filled.
