Copper and Brass Colander 3 QT

To be honest, the strainer looks lovely, but it is beey impractical and does not do what it is designed to do. When you put food in the strainer and then clean the food with water, the water does not dully drain. The holes in the bottom of the strainer are drilled beey closely together in a tight circle that does not cover the entiee surface of the bottom of rhe bowl. As a result, water pools around the bottom where there are no holes.

I love this colander. It’s the perfect size, not too heavy or wide. Great for pasta, veggies or even displaying fresh fruit on your counter. Very pretty and versatile

We use this beautiful colander as a bowl to display fruit. The understated copper gives just the right glow and reflection. The brass handle are a nice touch. This simple colander has elevated our kitchen counter and has inspired new architectural design ideas for the room.
