I have used batteries from other well-known suppliers, including Amazon, but none have been as reliable and well-built as the batteries from Electrify Bike Co. I particularly appreciate four features of their batteries: 1. The heavier case and the strong lugs that hold the battery to the mount cradle. I have had these lugs break off on two other name brand batteries until I had to attach the batteries to the cradle with bungee cords. 2. The XT90 connector. I use the Bafang BBSHD motors on all my conversions for myself and friends. I have electrified five recumbent trikes and four bikes. It was always a hassle because the motors, the batteries and extension cables had different connectors. I always had to go out on the internet and search for various adaptors. Electrify Bike has made conversions so much cleaner and easier because the battery, motor and cable extensions they provide all come with the XT90 connectors. My most recent conversion was on an Azub Ti-Fly 26 recumbent trike. I used the Electrify Bike Bafang kit, battery and cable extension and it was the easiest and most trouble-free conversion I have done. 3. You can order mount cradles separately. The other suppliers require you to buy a whole new battery. 4. Electrify Bike Co. is the only company I have found that you can get adaptors for the various types of battery charging ports. With the other suppliers, you are stuck using their inferior charger, that comes with the battery, or having to wire your own adaptor from an XT60. My only source is now Electrify Bike Co.
