UL certified
I have this thing about not burning my house down, so I searched all over for a UL certified battery. Electrify Bike was able to provide me a detailed PDF doc showing all the testing and certification info for the battery. Other vendors provided something that looked like their kid made it with Microsoft Word. This is a large and hefty battery, so you’re gonna probably need a triple bob mount. I used that plus an individual BOB so the cradle would have support under the entire thing. There’s a bit of play between the battery and cradle that causes some noise, so I bought a large rubber strap and wrapped it around the battery and secured it to the frame. Not a deal breaker, just a bit of an annoyance. I seem to have to charge this thing about once every 40-50 miles on my TSDZ8, where I mostly pedal, but definitely hit the throttle some as well. Mind you, I only charge to 80% and charge it before it hits 20%. I purposely bought a battery that was oversized for my needs so I can baby it.

The 52V 20 Ah Jumbo Shark E-battery is a perfect fit for my bike and my style of riding! I like to ride between 20 to 60 miles and battery feels that need with power to spare!
