Bought these for sailing. Sailed for 4 hours in the Puget Sound in the low 40s and heavy sheeting rain. With a pair of marino wool socks my feet stayed dry, warm, and comfortable. They feel like a pair of comfortable sneakers to walk in too. I'm very happy.
