Excellent Customer Service

The Acaia Pearl Scale is excellent. I love accuracy and built in timer. More than that, I appreciated the tremendous customer service from Greg. I placed the order on a Saturday. The scale was out of stock from Acaia. Greg emailed that day, let me know I could cancel the order or he would reach out on Monday. I was willing to wait. He emailed on Monday to say it was back in stock. I didn't have to reach out to Greg; he was always upfront and open about the order. It was refreshing and appreciated! I can't recommend Brewtoria highly enough for your coffee needs.

Great for Pour Over Brewing

So far I have used the Pearl mostly with pour over brewing with my Chemex and Hario Switch 03. I like the responsiveness of it regardless if I zero it out with a weighty brewer on top or just measuring a fistful of beans pre-grinding. It's fairly intuitive after a few uses; I'm not reaching for the instructions every other time. Although I use the Pyxis for the main measuring during my espresso escapades, the Pearl has been handy as a secondary scale thanks to its easy-to-read display. I look forward to using it with my AeroPress, Turkish cezve, and Vietnamese phin. I haven't used all of its features, but at this point those features will be considered bonuses as I really like the scale as is so far.
