Wilkinson WHS high output alnico 5 Stratocaster pickups

I would have loved to give this small company a higher score, but,

Sadly there was an initial problem with my order which was for neck and middle Wilkinson S type pickups. The reverse polarity middle pickup was out of stock. I accepted a standard pickup for the middle position. Unfortunately, when they were delivered, the Middle pickup was open circuit. I emailed Alegree expecting an apology and a replacement part to be sent, which under the consumer rights law is their duty. However, again, with no apology, I was told to return the faulty pickup and that they would repair/rewind it. At no time was i offered a refund, only a refund of my postage charges. I needed to get this simple project completed for my customer, and the price of the pickups was very competitive, so we decided to accept the repair, which at the end of the day is no big deal, as the pickup is simple a coil of wire around 6 Alnico magnets. The pickup has now arrived, installed and tested, and TBH does sound very good. My only issue was with the somewhat cold way I was treated. In conclusion, good value pickup, if only they could have said 'sorry.'
