Perfect fabric for warm summer days

I love this fabric, I made the 'Front button skirt' by Wardrobe by me and also the 'Skipper top' by Matchy Matchy Sewing Club last summer and have worn both together as a set and separate. I did line the skirt with a super lightweight white voile cotton as the Monaco Stripes fabric was just a bit too sheer for me. Both patterns also made it possible to play with the direction of the stripes, which was fun to sew. The fabric is very comfortable and perfect for warm summer days, and the colours are gorgeous. I've just ordered some more to use as a lining for a summery waistcoat I'll be making. I find it easy to order from Fabworks and love that I can order samples before purchasing, service is also super quick.

Luscious linen!

It's always a bit of a punt purchasing fabric on line but the photos together with fabric weight information sealed the deal, especially once I had confirmation from very helpful George at Fabworks that I could opt for Royal Mail delivery. The fabric is gorgeous IRL, & is earmarked for the Skipper dress from Matchy Matchy Sewing Club.
