DYN-185 - Aerodux Resorcinol Resin Kit

Using it for Sapele glulams. Making two 8ft beams at a time of three 8/4 timbers each. Then clamping them both together for 6 hours at 72 degrees. As I was spreading the adhesive I dropped five drops about the size of a nickel on the outside of one of the beams. The outsides were still rough from the mill. I scraped off the drops with scrap wood but didn’t bother to clean completely. At 6 hours I removed the clamps and found the beams stuck together solid. I tried to knock them apart by hand, then with rubber mallet, and finally with a large steel hammer just to break them apart. The Aerodux 185 really holds incredibly strong even with just five small drops on one board. Imagine the strength of my beams applying a solid layer of adhesive on each side of jointed wood before clamping. I have no concerns that these will hold together, probably longer than I do!
