The squishy tip (not crazily so) is so fun to play with, although you'll have to learn how much pressure to exert to get the dot of the desired size and not leave so much ink that it leaves a strong ghosting on the next page. The squishy tip is so juicy that it leaves ink all over the inside of the cap though. Initially I was really careful to not make a mess but I gave up after a while, ha.
