The ShowerWizard™ — Timed Shower Head with Built-In Shut-Off Valve

Our family had no control over our daughters’ shower times, which could go up to 45 minutes to an hour in length. With the Shower Wizard we were able to set it for a shorter time, and it has been extremely helpful. Even our daughter likes having a time restriction, so it has helped us save money!

We ended up not being able to use this with our shower. Our shower has a non-traditional setup with an externally mounted handheld sprayer and multiple pipe sections connected together, rather than a single shower arm leading directly to the showerhead. After installing the valve, the increased pressure caused leaks at several of the pipe connections. Our plumbing setup apparently wasn't designed to handle that level of pressure, so we had to remove the valve immediately. We're keeping it in case we can use it with a different shower in the future. Just a heads-up for anyone with a non-standard shower configuration: this product may not work well for your shower. My only other feedback is that decoding the color flashes during setup was a little frustrating at first. There is a reference table in the instructions, but it took some trial and error to understand what the different flash patterns meant. That said, it's a reasonable solution for a device without a display. The unit itself seems very solidly built and well made.

We love this product! It saves us so much money, as I have three children to love to take their sweet time in the shower. If a product makes my kids roll their eyes, it’s much be amazing!!
