Okay, but room for improvement

I bought the grinder hood, visor clip, and #5 shade as I do a lot of plasma cutting and grinding. The hood itself is a much better piece of personal protective gear than the plastic face shield or protective eyewear that I had been using previously. However, there are no instructions or even a diagram for proper mounting of the visor clip to the helmet. It seems like something that should be simple enough to figure out, and maybe the person reading this wont have any issues. But when I first attached the visor clip, it would not stay flipped up, making it a fancy #5 shade helmet. I called the customer help line, and the guy on the line was very helpful and walked me through it. It's frustrating not being able to figure out something that seems like it should be pretty simple. It stays in the up position now, but the shade still obscures a big chunk of my field of vision through the clear helmet lens. If I mounted it incorrectly a second time, as may be the case, I wouldn't know because there is no illustration for how to attach it correctly. Definitely better than nothing, and the grinder hood alone is great! But having the shade block a lot of my view is annoying and may just remove it and call that part of the purchase a loss.

It works!

It took a little bit to get it on the hood, but with the help of a needle nose it went right on. Paired with a #5 shade visor, now I can go from plasma cutting to grinding with just a flip of the visor. Works good.
