GMC 2500 Cargo Van 1986 - 2025

Installation on my GMC Savana 2500 work van was easy. It took about 1.5 hours in total. On the lowest torque setting (1mm) the ride is markedly improved, quieter, more stable. It lifts the rear 1". However, when I hitched my 30' Forest River Toyhauler (1200lb tongue wt) the van squated 3 1/2 inches in the rear - just as badly as prior to installation! The springs made zero difference! Called tech support, and they suggested I try the 2mm setting, and stated I could even go to 3mm max. The 2mm setting still allows the van to squat 3", and the 3mm setting allows a 2 1/2 squat! What's worse, that on the 3mm setting, the suspension is so stiff and noisy, it's untenable. These springs are not the right solution for my configuration. I should have bought air bags. Very disappointed. 2 stars because when I set them back down to 2mm, the van does ride a bit better, but towing is not improved at all.
