Buttery Mochi

I'm from Oahu, my kids were born and raised in Alabama. They love this buttery Mochi cake. It's a once a year treat every New Years Day. They've asked me to break the tradition and make it more often . It's ONO! Smooth, buttery and oh so delicious.
