The zip closure was not smooth. And the 2 straps on top that secures the protective plastic cover will interfere with the closure every time. The loose end of the straps will often obstruct the zip and you will need to manually lift them up to zip it close. You can of course choose to close it at the sides to circumvent this issue but this becomes easy pickings for pick pockets in crowded places. I considered removing the plastic cover to get rid of the straps but the bag becomes quite unsightly unless you have the mini phone hard case hanging off the front of it, which I don't. Overall, it's comfortable to carry and I liked it for its wide strap to distribute load on the shoulders. But to me, there are better bags in terms of closure design and smoother zippers. The looks are really nice though, only with the plastic protector in place
