Versatile, warm camping blanket
I was looking for an adventure blanket with a little added warmth that I could use for sleeping late spring to early fall that would also work as a ground cover to sit on or let me dog use. My parameters were weight (under two pounds), size (at least 4.5’ by 6’), and material (at least 30D). This mostly hit my requirements, and what set it over the top is the added dimension of working as an hammock under quilt that also can zip over top as a cocoon. I have used this on a couple of camping trips. This will also work for canoe camping and bike packing if it can get it to compress down enough to make it packable. A friend used it on an overnight backpacking trip but it is too bulky if space is a factor. Pros: Versatility and varied uses, warmth, comfort, feel against the skin, and footprint. Cons: At 2 pounds the weight is adequate for my needs but it is a little bulky for minimalist adventures TBD: I was hoping this would be rugged enough to withstand ground use. The material at 20D feels a little thin, so I question how well it will hold up to this use. Overall happy with this and would recommend.

Convenient, comfy, and warm
The ThermaQuilt is great and versatile. It kept me warm on the lake in October. For longer backpacking trips, I’ll upgrade to the down hammock. For quick fun trips, this is perfect.

Works pretty good. Wish the ends closed a little more securely.
