Stunning Blue Dial Moon Phase Longines

This is the second watch that I have bought from Teddy. I decided I needed a Swiss made automatic watch with a moon phase function (yes needed). I respect the Swiss watchmaking tradition and do not buy watches to impress others. I feel that Longines is one of the brands that represents that tradition at a reasonable price point. I decided to purchase this Longines Master Collection Sunray Blue on Bracelet. I have an affinity for blue dials and I have to say that this one is absolutely stunning, the pictures on both Teddy's and the Longines websites do not do it justice. I also like the simplicity of the hour markers and the hands. The date indicator at 6 o'clock is a nice touch and the 72 hour power reserve is a plus. The overall finish and workmanship is impeccable. All in all it's a very elegant timepiece. I had a little concern about the readability of the silver hands on the dark dial but that is no problem whatsoever. I normally go with a 42mm case width but I am very happy and extremely pleased with my purchase. I do not buy watches from unauthorized dealers and Teddy's prices and service are both terrific! You cannot do better.
