Missed the mark

This book missed the mark for me, unfortunately. Two reasons. First, in our family we discourage secrets for safety reasons, so the use of secrets was not my favorite. I realize that seems insignificant for some, but to me it’s important. My second reason is that this book was too obvious. The mission of this company is to talk to kids about things that adults find hard to talk about. This book was just a listing of the obvious things grown ups already tell kids about sharing. I really wish the book would have included another important truth that grown ups don’t always tell us: that sometimes you don’t want to share and you don’t have to share if you don’t want to. This is something that isn’t told to kids enough and needs to be. You get to decide and you don’t HAVE to share.

Perfect for 2 year old

My daughter really enjoys this books, especially resonates with having an older sibling where sharing and taking turns can be difficult on both ends. We love the illustrations and how easy it was/is for her to understand! Highly recommend!
