So, here is the thing. This product was specifically designed to be a permanent fix to go underground and be waterproof. The word permanent in the advertised solution was so comforting to us. We have "permanent" runs to other rooms that needed to be cut and rerouted to a different path. Knowing that there would be no going back once the spray foam went in, we knew we needed a trustworthy permanent solution. There are only two negatives; they were not deal breakers for us. One unit was missing a green ring, but I am not 100% sure that was not our fault. It may have dropped, and we didn't see where it went. The other issue may be the one that bothers others: The central part of the coupler is wedged into the system with three shims. Depending on which side you're doing first, shooting the shims out and popping out the coupler is possible. Once I learned this, I plugged in the shimmed side first, tightened it up, and then did the other side. Every coupler tested perfectly! 100% first try every time. Every couple was high quality, material, well designed, sturdy, and well made. We are in the early stages of what would be a large game room and office. With two Symmetrical Fiber lines to the building, we are taking the networking seriously. This experience has won me over. We will be using their products for this project, and as the Director of Business Development and Sales for my MSP, I will recommend True Cable to my CEO.
