1st order never arrived, thus low stars. BUT Commodity was GREAT about sending out a replacement order which arrived within a week. This original order I'm rating, it's been 5 weeks & tracking still claims it's in on its way but stuck in the same state on the opposite side of the country from me. :/ What the heck, USPS?

Velvet vs. By the Fireplace — Sweet Warmth and Smoky Depth

Velvet Personal, Velvet Expressive, and Velvet Bold share a gourmand‑amber DNA built around toasted almond, rose petals, and vanilla, while Maison Margiela’s By the Fireplace takes that sweetness into a smoky, spicy territory. The resemblance is clearest in Velvet Expressive, which mirrors the cozy chestnut‑vanilla warmth of By the Fireplace but without the smoke. Commodity is a small boutique perfumery that produces alluring scents that last all day. Velvet opens up strong but rounds out into a remarkable romantic frangrance. Very unique and probably not for everyone but I absolutely love it.
