Pumpkin Cream Cheese Kolachi Roll

This is my first time trying this flavor kolachi roll—so good!! I love the pumpkin flavor -especially as fall approaches. Reminds me of old days when Mom taught me to bake pies (hers were so good, flaky crusts, delicious fillings). She passed it on to me snd then i became the family pie maker -at least for awhile . My favorite memories are when we did them together. We experimented with fresh pumpkin we grew in my backyard. I can’t even remember how many pies we made that one year—we had to give them away! Then we had fresh pumpkin filling perfected. This really brought me back to one in particular we did that was a combination apple pumpkin (mom’s garden apples-my garden pumpkin). The spices used hinted at that flavor at least for me and the smoothness of the cream cheese really makes this kolachi roll perfection. I’ll be getting this again for next fall. ❤️😊

Good! But I enjoyed the plain pumpkin more!
