Candy Pearl Midnight Blue Quart with Reducer (Candy Midcoat Only) Auto Paint Kit

I used the black basecoat and went 3 coats of the candy pearl midnight blue for the sides of tank and stripes down the center of fender. Then lightly sanded tape lines with 1000 grit. Then 3 coats clear. The paint laid very even and was extremely easy to maintain even color with the mid coat candy. I used fast reducer and 25psi. The paint was smooth and no orange peel. But, I did wet sand and buffed because I did not want the tape lines from the different colors. Harley-davidson usually does not sand out there lines but I prefer a mirror no line smooth surface. Extremely easy to achieve with wet sanding and buffing. If i did not do a two tone paint job I feel this paint laid smooth enough that no sanding or buffing needed. This is now our source for wicked custom painting.
