A terrific read for anyone worried about their journey not aligning with the stereotypes.
Mia paints a very honest and critical view of her journey; from childhood and adolescent insecurities through to her experiences with therapy and eventual realisation, and then on the fears and challenges she faced in the workplace and the hardship of being an outspoken advocate for the trans community in the UK.
An informative, candid and unabashed memoir that will forever remain as one of my most treasured books.
