Initial Review: -The initial dialog about this Nuwatt product with Nuwatt personnel was great, answered all questions, and even offered "a bump with wiring assistance" if needed as I have six of these that will be controlled/dimmed from two locations, this means limited criteria of available switches that can handle the LED load. (I've not yet wired a set of lights with those additional purple & pink wires, so I do plan on asking for the bump assistance to finish this project.) -Prior to my purchase, I had seen on the Reviews from others and had noticed a couple of posts mentioning slightly damaged products when received via shipping. Well, I think all but one of my six had this issue, all of these five having damage on one or more of the corners, one of which was pretty bad in that it had about an 1/8" crack on a corner. All of these I tapped/banged out with two ballping hammers. NuWatt: you definitely need to address this shipping problem causing damage, maybe increase the cardboard box size to accommodate larger and better corner protection of your larger lighting products shipped... -I had to prime & paint mine black, as black was not yet an option on this size of Surface Mount 2'x4'. This took care of any paint damage on those corners (but not that crack on one). This painting effort required disassembly of the fixture, which wasn't hard to figure out as long as you keep track of the two slightly different phillips head screws that hold the assembly together. NuWatt should be offering this as an available option in black now just like several other models they produce are, remember seeing that info somewhere. -The mounting was extremely easy from this "Professional DIY'ers" perspective. -I have not lit all 6 up at the same time yet as they are not wired yet as mentioned above. However, I did "panel lift" one of the fixtures up to the 11' high garage ceiling when they arrived, (wired to a cut extension cord), and it had what appears is going to be a good "hue of color" option, and a good full brightness level especially once all six will be on at the same time.
