Women's Excursion Ice Pro Jacket

Another great FXR winter jacket!

I purchased the Male equivalent of this jacket and left a bit more detailed review there but no corners were cut on the Women's version as well! My wife has a FXR snowmobile coat in size 8 and the Medium here fit great. She loves that it was a bit less "flashy" for wearing to work but still rugged and extremely warm. It looks far better in person than the pictures online do justice. We are quickly purging all of our other coats in favor of FXR as even though we were a bit nervous ordering online sight unseen, all of their new coats have been awesome. We both felt these jackets were better than expected.

Beautiful functional coat

I have only worn it a few times but it is well made with great materials. Comfortable and WARM! I probably shouldnt have gone a size up. I wanted to be sure my chest and back protector would fit underneath. but the extra room will allow the armor and a hoodie if needed and not reduce my arm range of motion. The collar is a bit stiff but seems intentional and I will probably be grateful on windy wet days since it hides my face well without needing a scarf. I love all the pockets (9 of them!). Very happy with my purchase. My last coat was a Columbia that lasted 12 years. I anticipate this one will perform just as well.
