Something wrong with the rubber

I normally love Baffin boots because they are well made and useful for life in northern Canada, but I just discovered that the boots I just bought partway through this winter are already falling apart. They were on sale and they are worn, so I’m not able to return them. Our winter is not over and actually just got colder and I really need them, so I’m definitely disappointed. This is the first time I’ve experienced this with Baffin boots. There are now two gaping holes in the rubber bottoms of my boots and I can’t return them

Delivers on Warmth

I looked at dozens of arctic boots before choosing this one. My first impression is that they are very well made boots. For some reason the weight of them surprised me as I am not use to having this type of boot. However, once I put these on, it all made perfect sense. I am used to layering socks but the fit of the liner didn't allow much extra room. So I went with one pair of "Darn Tough" socks and my feet, in sub zero temperatures, standing or trekking for hours in the snow, were absolutely toasty. I honestly couldn't believe that ANY BOOT could keep my feet warm in the frigid weather we have been experiencing in my region. I am a wildlife and landscape photographer which leads me into a variety of winter terrain -- wet, icy, deep snow, etc. Others were complaining of cold feet and needing to warm up in their cars often. My Baffins were the envy of all. Next year these boots will travel with me for a week of polar bear photography in subarctic conditions. I am confident that they will perform well. Very glad I purchased these boots.

Warm and comfortable

These boots were so comfortable to slip on and spend the day in. They were warm enough to withstand a full day of outdoor fun in deep snow.
