whisper wood wicks won’t stay lit

We love the wooden whisper wicks however these are not staying lit. I’m not sure if we are doing something wrong with our candles or if it’s the wick itself. We are using the large wooden wick in our 8oz tumbler and our tins. Other than that we had excellent customer service and shipping was within a week of ordering.
